So last Friday morning, at the behest of my company, I attended a job fair two hours south of our office in Dahlgren, VA. Later that evening, I met up with some college friends up in Baltimore, MD. We hung out in Federal Hill until rather late and then had breakfast the next morning in Fells Point. While we were eating, people commented that my face was flush and that I looked absolutely terrible. I figured that I had a hangover and brushed aside the ribbings.

Later that day, I accompanied my father to have dinner at the Annapolis mall and then read magazines at the Borders Books. The entire time I still felt queezy and felt the need for slow movements. I figured that I had a hangover.

On Sunday, I hung around my house feeling lazy and miserable. Towards the end of the evening, I had dinner with my parents and still felt queezy. As improbable as it sounds, I still figured that I had a hangover from Friday night's antics.

On Sunday, when I made my way into the office, I stopped by a coworker's desk to see how she was doing. It turns out that she had the worst weekend because she had caught a bug while at the Dahlgren job fair.

I did not have a 48 hour hangover. I was sick with some God-knows-what illness picked up from that job fair! It's Thursday evening and I'm still feeling like rubbish. I hope that I'm okay before the Fourth of July.
